Stones
I have been having problems with the chipping of the paint
on the front section of the bed behind the cab area. It
seems that the factory mastic applied is too small. I
thought of wet sanding the area, masking if off and spray
on some of that Duplicolor bed liner rattle can
stuff...which is black or dark gray and should look better
than chipped paint and future rust....thought about vinyl
decal material also but don't think it's strong enough. Any
thoughts?

I taped off the area and then sprayed it with a Dupli-Color bed liner material I bought at Pep Boys. Did that 4 years ago....problem solved and no further issues. Works like a charm.
