Hey i was just wondering if anyone modded their dashboard lights. I just bought a new 06 SE V6 extended cab and i want to change out the orange lights to led blue to match the headunit that i bought. If anyone knows where to buy these lights would be much appreciated if you could post a link.

thanks

You can use 194 bulbs, but with the LEDs you have to make sure you attach them correctly, otherwise they won't work.

I would suggest opening up the dash first and see what kind of lights you have.  Some manufacturers use a smaller bulb than the 194/194. The 194 can be used in place of the 164, but some use the size of a small Maglite bulb

I have a friend that does led conversions.  He did his TL and it looks awesome and umm blue lol.  basically he can convert anytype of light to led.  lisence plate lights, dome lights, and even map lights.

Are there any sites out there that show how to dissasemble the dash? I have a new '05 Frontier and I'd like to do some of these mods but don't want to mess up the dash getting into it.

Thanks!
