Is it possible to buy an aftermarket S/C for my already S/Ced truck. Does Eaton make a better one that what I have, or does Stillen?

Sheep,
Alpine http://tonemonday.com makes one for our 3.3 engines, although rumor has it that , the Alpine supercharger has some reliability issues.
The Eaton M-62 supercharger http://www.automotive.eaton.com/product/engine_controls/whys uperchargers.html is the one Nissan purchases and installs on our 3.3 (VG33ER) engines at the factory and magnuson is also an aproved manufacturer for Eaton as well and carries lots of replacement parts. http://www.magnusonproducts.com/
However, Eaton has made 2nd & 3rd generation M-62 superchargers inwhich the 3rd generation has enhanced inlet and outlet ports for much better turbine air vortex. When my original supercharger was replaced at about 40K miles (due to other problems not caused by the S/C) Nissan said they used a 3rg generation supercharger to replace the factory installed one on my truck and it runs very good. Which was alot better than the one it came with from the factory.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN S/C FRONTIER AND ARE INTERESTED IN A RELACEMENT. I WOULD DEFINITELY LOOK INTO A WHIPPLE S/C. FROM WHAT I KNOW THEY ARE BY FAR THE MOST RELIABLE,
POWER ORIENTED, AND EXPENSIVE S/C'S ON THE MARKET TODAY.
I EVEN RECENTLY CAME UPON SOME INFO. ON WATER INJECTION
KITS FOR S/C, TURBO, OR NATURALLY ASPIRATED VEHICLES EVEN. MANIFOLD TEMPERATURES ARE A BIG POWER ROBBER. THE WATER INJECTION IS A COMPRESSED FINE SPRAY OF H20 THAT KEEPS EVERYTHING AT A CONSTANT CONTROLLED TEMP. THEY ORIGINALLY USED THESE IN WWII IN MOST AIRCRAFTS. THE ENGINES IN THESE PLANES WERE S/C AND INCLUDED AN INJECTION KIT WHICH WAS AHEAD OF IT'S TIME.

Finally glad to hear they changed that Eaton in the trucks. I went down one day and test drove while mine was in for a oil change. The salesman rode with me It was a 2004 I believe.
Anyway, I was pulling out of this intersection onto the road and I had floored it. The tires didn't make any noise till I started turning. And he was all blabbing back there "Oh yeah, the S/C gives it a lot of power"
I refrained the best I could from laughing. I didn't have the heart to tell him that my little 2.4 would have left rubber the whole way. I was very dissapointed with the S/C.

The 2.4 gets it. We hill race out here. Find a path big enough for 2 vehicles and charge it. My frontier with 4cyl. smoked this 02' s/c 4x4 frontier and made him look goofy time and time again. A truck like that should take mine with no questions asked right. Well, he let his girlfriend run it once and it was the only time that truck beat me out in Ocotillo Wells, Ca. I think the driver makes a difference but your set-up is first and foremost most important. It showed that all the time I spent working on my truck paid off. If I bought an s/c truck, the first thing I would do is rip the stock s/c out and replace that s*** with a whipple s/c.

I once did a sweet burnout around this light pole like 2 times. And took off out of the parking lot. Later when I came back, everyone was like "what do you got in there, you got the S/C, or NOS?"
I had to literally show them around the truck to prove that I wasn't running the engine breaking bottle. I love my truck. I'm not going to get rid of it for a few more years (bidding my time till they stuff a diesel into the Titan)

F*** yeah. A diesel titan would be bad ass. 2 more years
when I finally complete my truck I'll probably be in a used titan. I refuse to buy brand new. The second I leave the lot I already took a huge chunk off the selling price. What size motor are they going to put in the diesel and will it be able to compete or surpass the ford diesel class? Your thoughts....
