I really like the way my 05 4x4 runs with the 4 liter V6 but the brakes don't seem as impressive and look kind of tiny behind the factory 17" wheels. Can Titan brake rotors be fitted? I'm pretty sure the wheels are the same bolt pattern. I'm a pretty decent fabricator (and degreed engineer), I think I could move the stock calipers out to work with larger diameter rotor. Has anybody done anything similar?

..

Switch to to 15" wheels, much better for off roading a 4x4 and the brakes won't look so small. Large diamiter heavy tires might need better brakes.   I've had my '99 with BFG AT 31x10.50x15 tires over some of the toughest Colorado mountain trails and the '99 stock brakes were OK. I didn't like the ABS when offroad.

Mayby someone here has upgraded their brakes... It would be nice to have a picture-article on the subject.

Have a good one while they are free.. Don S..
