I'd like to thank Jet Performance Products for coming out with a product for the 01-04 model Frontier/Xterra. It's basically a piggy-back ecu module from what I can tell but I really don't know all that much about these kind of things. It allows more horses and torque though as far as I know, but I haven't found any reviews on this product. I'll be purchasing it late this year or summer next year along with either a gibson, magnaflow, or nismo cat back exhaust. These two plus my K&N kit should open my baby up a little more. If anyone has already gotten this mod, let me know if it's worth the money. On the jetchips site it runs $350 but it's $263 with summitracing here are a couple links (#1-Jet Chips; #2 Summit Racing)

Carefull with the K&N, they flow more air, also more dirt. Good way to destroy a MAFS. Do a search on K&N.

As long as you keep it clean and "lightly" oil.  You won't have a problem with these.  I run them in all my vehicles and have had zero issues.  The are MUCH better than stock filters!

Thanks for the links, I have the same power train and would like to see a bit more power.  Now are these only for the V6?

sadly, it is only for the 6cyl models, but they might be in the process of making one for the 4cyl model, you never know, it took 8 years from the first production of that gen frontier to get a piggyback module for the V6, so you never know what they could be coming up with
