hi everyone, i'm looking for a bit of advise. i'm shopping for an exhaust for my 1998 frontier 4x4 king cab w/ california emissions. it has 150,000 miles on it and is still going strong. it's bone stock except for k&n filter, cooper discoverer tires and kyb monomax shocks. i got a quote today for a (stock) cat back system from a local shop, nearly $500! i really don't want anything much louder than stock. gibson claims a low mellow sound, but i haven't been able to find any sound clips of a '98. i'd love to get a bit of feedback from anyone running this system. for right around $300 it seems like a good deal. i tried the search function but wasn't able to find anything for a 1998. thanks in advance, jim

Dannyg is right.
I had Meineki install a cherry bomb turbo on my 2.4
and it is significantly better than the stock exhaust.
It not loud, just a low hum when you get the RPMs up.
Everyone has their preference but his works for me.
