I'm posting this on behalf of Project Forward Motion, the car club that I am a member of.

Enjoy!

Since both myself and my club have been brought into this.  Its time for me to speak up and set some things straight.

My name is Sean McCloskey, I am President of a car club; Project Forward Motion.  I have known William for over 2 years now and have been a longtime supporter and friend of his until now.  I have turned a blind eye to his actions that I have viewed as questionable or unethical and his blatant misrepresentation of himself and his business, but can do so no longer.  Will was introduced to the club through me.  I brought some of the guys to Fresh Alloy's Go Kart event in March of 2007.  That was when Will met Rick and I made the suggestion that Rick let Will use his space for WRP to help start it up.  From the beginning, the club was very supportive of William.  How could you not like him? When you first meet Will, he's outgoing, very friendly and comes off like a great guy.  Within a year, he's managed to alienate himself from the group.

William, you need to look in the mirror.  You had the 100% support of the entire club, yet you managed to burn every single bridge and we weren't customers, we were your FRIENDS.  That should tell you something about how you conduct yourself as a person.  Don't bother to call me to talk about this, I will not answer.  I can't think about any conversation we've ever had without feeling like you omitted facts because you thought I was ignorant of the situation or you were flat out lying.  Our friendship is over.  There is no way you can ever get my trust back.  This is something you've brought upon yourself, as usual, we expect you to play the victim and make an excuse for everything.

The locks have been changed on the doors, you have no more access to our location.  You can come to the shop Wednesday after 7pm to pick up your car and come on Sunday after 11a during the meet to pick up your tools.

Below is a list of items assembled and agreed upon by the members of PFM, our official statement as a club.  These are our grievances against him as we feel that our name is being tarnished by the association we've had with him and our assets are at risk because he "bases" himself out of our privately owned location.

Official PFM Statement
Quote:
In light of recent events, Project Forward Motion finds itself in the positions of needing to set the record straight regarding William Perdigon, WRP and his involvement with our organization.
 - William does not own any part of the shop he claims as his own or any other location designed to service cars.  The space at 154 N Cooper is owned by one of our club members and he charges Will for use of the space at $10 per hour.  Will was initially being charged $5 per hour until Rick realized that wasn't covering his cost of utilities for the time Will spent there.
 - William does not own the lift.  The lift was paid for in full by Rick, owner of the shop space.
 - William only owns his single red toolbox of hand tools, a tool cart and a portable compressor.  The oil catch, lift, jacks and all other tools are ours.
 - Until he was being charged $100 per month for vehicle storage, would routinely keep 2-4 vehicles at the shop at all times, inside.  Most vehicles would remain at the shop for 1-2 months or longer.  Will does not own the Fresh Alloy 350Z.  That is the property of Fred Palmer, Senior Admin of Fresh Alloy.

Club grievances against Will for his time as a club member.
 - William organized a header installation day for the club.  We thought the $300 per job was going all to the techs he brought in.  He paid them $200 and took $100 off the top, even though he was a club member at the time.
 - William pressured members into letting him do their mechanical work rather than taking it to a shop.  Most had issues after the jobs were done and had to have the work fixed by a reputable mechanic.
 - William would routinely accuse club members of stealing or losing tools he had misplaced and force them to replace them.  In the same time, he overused and abused club tools and it was not uncommon for him to lock somebody else's tool in his box after using it.
 - William routinely wanted special permissions for himself, such as using his business internet as an excuse to not pay dues.  Claimed the internet was for the club, not himself.  When told to turn off the internet and pay dues (dues cost $200 per year, internet is almost $500), William decided to leave the club citing the issues in his PM.  The DSL internet connection is still currently turned on at the shop location.
 - Before the club was organized with a system of elected officers and a treasurer, the club entrusted him with over $1000, for purchasing the lift since he said he would pay a larger portion as it was for WRP use too.  He in turn spent it on materials and items he felt necessary to work on customer cars in our shop and Rick had to pay for the lift entirely himself.
 - Overused the shop's air compressor, melting the wires running to the panel.  Rather than arrange tof fix it, he bought his own portable air compressor.  After the club fixed ours, he started to use the club compressor again.
 - Wiiliam cleans up oil messes on shop floor by rinsing them with a hose outside.  Parking lot outside garage door is heavily oil stained and club is now at a risk for EPA violations.  He only squeegees the floor in the area he's working in and its common to see puddles of oily water on the shop floor.
 - If Will had not already removed himself from the club, we would be removing him in light of recent events.

WRP related instances that PFM will corroborate.
 - WRP is one person, William Perdigon.  The closest things he has to an employee is his girlfriend, Jaime who assists him.  Any claims about "employees" when issues arise in delivery times and group buys have no merit.  Ryan (f r e z n y), who does his web work, is not an employee of WRP, but another personal friend.
 - Will has never admitted to having liability insurance for the parts he manufactures or the work he does on customer cars.  He has told club members that it would cost $20,000 per month and couldn't afford it.
 - Will does not own any on-site machinery capable of doing the CNC work and manufacturing of his parts.  He has told members that all aluminum milled pieces are outsourced to a machine shop in Baltimore.  The only tool the club can verify he owns for manufacturing his own parts is the crimp tool for grounding kit.
 - Will did not test his IMS prior to releasing it to the public.  The first dyno test was the one done by NSM.  He was very excited about it and told all of us because it hadn't been tested and he was shocked to see the results.
 - Will does not have any IMS's left.  He only manufactured them when he would have a group buy, so the cost of the production run would be covered by the group buy and additional spacer sold afterwards were 100% profit.  So his claim that "I will not sell anymore" does not hold much weight.  He doesn't have any to sell and know full well that he couldn't get enough to do another group buy.  The only people still interested in the IMS are those outside of the forums and haven't seen the recent test results.
 - Routinely, Will does not manufacture a prototype and do any kind of long term testing on it.  The "prototype" is done as part of his first batch which is paid for by the group buy.  This is how you end up with "paperweight" pullies.
 - MRC Motorsports, where Will dyno'd his IMS on Saturday; they had their Spring BBQ on Sunday.  Julian was quite open with the results because he was amused with how mad Will got over the results, a whopping 10 whp loss.  He classified the IMS as DDS, 'Didn't Do sh*t."

In closing, PFM is completely disassociating itself with William Perdigon and WRP Technology.  We do not condone any of his actions and feel that he is self serving and will lie to achieve his own gains.  Simply, he is a detriment to the community because he does not work to create gains for the community, only himself.  We will never advocate him or any of his business practices.

And as Will decided to post up part of the conversation between him and myself, I figured it would be worthwhile to post the entire conversation.  I know Will likes to paint himself as an innocent victim.
Here's the entire conversation between myself and Will.  I'll bring it all out to put it into context.

Will,

I know you had mentioned that you were debating whether or not you wanted to continue as a member of the club. We hadn't talked about it lately with you being sick, but I wanted to see what you were thinking still.

I have to let you know that if you do want to continue with the club, you're going to have to pay dues. I and the other club officers have talked about it and we think its probably best to disconnect the internet from the shop computer. So you'll need to use your laptop to connect while at the shop if you want to keep the internet for your business use.

If you haven't been keeping up, we do have two options for membership per the bylaws. Regular Membership is $200 per year, Associate Membership is $40. This thread highlights the differences in the two.

Let me know what you're thinking of. I haven't heard from Fred in quite some time, so I have no idea what his plans are either, I'm going to drop him an e-mail.

I'm a little confused as to why you guys were able to make a decision the club voted on - I don't even use the shop internet there as my presence at the shop is very minimal....it's really more for the club.....please explain to me why this decision was made

also thinking about this....

I have been paying for the internet at the shop, which has been used to attack my business at least once by a club member - I'm sure you understand that this doesn't sit very well with me considering it wasn't something that should have occurred. Not to mention, I know that someone with strong suspect from me, has been leaking information about my business through the PFM site.

To date from the last time club dues were paid, I have paid $180.00 which is an excess of $80.00 beyond what the club members have paid. I think it's only fair that if I am forced to pay any dues, that I should only have to pay the difference of what I have paid in excess to what the club dues are which is $20.00 this time around.

Get back to me.

The basis for the decision came about partially from what happened with you and Tom, also as a decision of what was most useful to the group. We felt that it had become more of a distraction and cause of trouble than it was worth. When we evaluated what the real value to the club was, there didn't seem to be any there.

Remember, the club didn't ask you to provide the internet, you ordered it first, then asked to have you dues exempted because you were providing it, which we agreed to. There won't be any adjustments of dues. If you want to make a comparison, I also spend $25 a month in hosting fees to host the club website as well as already paying dues, not to mention the additional time I spend maintaining the club website.

If you don't need the internet for yourself, cancel it ASAP. You'll save yourself $80 over the next 6 months.

Sean,

I want you to know that I have a lot of respect for you and your levelheadedness (if thats a word) and I have given a lot of thought to certain things/interactions with the club. I hope by no means you would think that anything in the following is directly towards you, as it is not.

I don't think the basis for the decision was due to the incident that occured with Tom, as I observed the thread questioning my "internet providing" in lue of club dues which was started before this thing with Tom. I also didn't think that anyone was offended by anything I may have said, but in hinesight it appears that either people are ultra-sensitive, or just upset and needed a reason to complain about my apparant "I provide the net" comments. I don't think that it's fair that one of the people who would be voting on a decision affecting a club member may have a biased opinion (Ryan and I) about that member, and possibly have a negative perspective.

Just like youself, we have been carrying the cost of doing something to benefit the club and not ourselves. At this point I don't think there is anything I will ever be able to do that will yield the respect of what at one time I considered my friends.

While there are people whom I'm still friends with, I feel that members like Tom really created a bad situation in regards to me, my business, and PFM. He had no right to do so. Not to mention, I also have been given evidence of continued slander towards my business from him, and done through the PFM site. I have been considering legal actions due to the slander.

I have made the decision to not continue my membership with this club. I feel that there is a click going on in the club, between you, Ryan, Ray, and Tom. I also feel that with Tom's continued efforts to cause damage towards WRP Technology, it's best that we part ways.

I want you to know that in no way am I looking to "go out with a bang" or create any online drama situations for the club or anyone in it. I am sure as you have observed, I have been silently withdrawing myself from club actions, meets, and online communications.

Give me a call if you want to discuss this any further, I don't like going back and forth online, it's very tirings.

Thanks,
William

Oh and as a side note, I'm excited as my meth kit arrived today and I'm leaving tomorrow to get my new sentra

Will, I understand your points and its not an easy situation for anybody that I wish would've resolved differently, but I respect your decision. We'll talk more later.

Sean

Be safe on the trip and good luck. Rick had mentioned that you bought a house in Media too? Congrats.
