I got a 2.5L king cab. I was wondering how I could increase hp and maybe even mpg. I already ordered an Airaid classic cold air intake(#520-188) and a Thorton electric supercharger. I don't want to spend too much money, since I am a college student. Any ideas or recommendations??

I have a 2004 2.4. I too am a college student. I put a cherry bomb exhaust, mounted just after the CAT with a turn down. $75 parts and labor (cause I got a shop to weld it on for me). APC universal air intake. $50 from Advance Auto and I put it on myself. I definately notice a difference! It think the prices are pretty cheap too.
California may not allow those modifications, so check your local laws.

I have an 06 xe and I have a k&n intake and a magnaflow exhaust. I
was thinkin about an electric supercharger. How well is that electric
supercharger working for you? Does it really make a difference and is
it worth ordering??
