I have a 98 king cab and as you guys know finding any performance parts is nearly impossible. I have seen some people with an FBI intake but thus far I can't find it anywhere. Also, does anyone know of a computer upgrade of any kind for our trucks? I am not real confident that they make one, but there's no harm is asking. Thanks for the help.

I found an intake at Advance Auto for $50. Its a universal kit made by either APC or AEM. It included the filter stainless steel pipe with holes for the air temperature sensor and a 4 foot black hose to go from the steel pipe to the intake. It comes with all the clamps necessary. It gave me a boost in power. I hope you don't mind your truck being a little louder because there will be a whirring noise whenever the engine is running. I like the noise, it gives my little 4 banger a little more bark with its bite!

The only thing, when you re-oil the filter...don't use too much oil. Thats what I did and now Im looking at buying a new MAF sensor. When you first install it it may run rough for the first hour of running time because the computer is trying to figure out what to do with all that air.

Good luck!

I have a 98 King Cab as well and I found an air intake specifically made for a 98-04 4 Cylinder Nissan Frontier: http://weaponr.com/english/index.php?main_page=product_info& amp;cPath=288_326_331&products_id=5694

As for a computer, the only thing I have been able to find was from Jet Chips, and them modify the stock ECU in the vehicle. You buy the kit from them, they send you instructions on how to remove the ECU from you truck, and then you send them the ECU, they work on it, and send it back to you with instructions on how to reinstall it. http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?pid=14478&make=30&am p;model=883#883

Hope this helps!
