hey all, im new to this forum, i just bought a new 2007 se frontier and want to put some speakers inside her. I got the base model (due to being a poor student) but i can't drive without some music! so I am looking for a decent speaker setup off ebay (any recommendations?) also looking for some advice on installation.
So for installation I am looking to put in (2) 6 inchers in the main doors and (2) 4 inchers in the rear doors and hold off on the tweeters. I don't want to mess up the panels on installation, i would rather wait till i have more cash and get it done professionally. Although if its not to hard getting them off and I would like to try and save some cash on the install labor.
Questions:
(1) are the doors pre-wired for speakers on the base frontiers that don't come with speakers?
(2) is the job relatively easy?
(3) is there a method to getting the panels off? like taking off the window rollers?

just dont put the ap under a seat the idiot who did the job on my truck before i bought it didi tat the amp overheats and they messed the seat up( the selt belt light stays on all the time) and they wired it backwards

I have a 07 Frontier, I just installed all 4 speakers in it. you have to pull off all the door panels to do it, but its no problem. go to website Crutchfield, they have what you want, i put in 6x9 in the front and 6 1/2 in the rear, i also installed a new CD player, when you purchase from them, you get directions with pics how to install HU or speakers. hope this helps. Thomas
