hello all.

first time poster.

and im bringing some bread.

my truck is an 03 crew; bought with 1.5 miles. we own an automotive shop in s.c. (sandlapperautomotive.com) so i have done all the work myself (except my tint) its got an SLR stage 3, 3.5 inch susp lift, 3 inch body lift, .5 inch spacers, 4x4parts.com idler arm and brace, welded lower control arms (for strength) 33X12.50's BFG muds, ported and polished head, SLR cams, NISMO cold air intake (modded for the body lift, cant tell though ;) , SLR throttle body plate, KOYO aluminum radiator, NISMO thermostat, BORLA hush muffler with shortened outlet, custom front diff lowering kit (1.5 inches), blacked out headlights, Hella H3 yellow fogs, in dash DVD navigation and a turbo.

just kidding. I did try though.. the VG30DETT manifold/turbo bolts right up to the VG33-E but there is no way to get proper engine management.

so now that im off topic.

new post. reading. you know my background. your gettin impatient.here we go.

anyone that lifts their truck knows that there is a lighting issue, i worked and worked and bought bulb after bulb trying to have enough light on the ground in front of me, as i did a mile up ahead of me.

i didnt have much luck, although i did find the sylvania silverstars to be a worthy opponent, i still wasnt satisfied.

so i bought an HID conversion kit. 12000k violent purple, with 2 seperate digital micro processors. this difference is truely, truely amazing. extremely easy to install. took probably 45 minutes to do everything, and this is with me going one step further by unwrapping, re-wireing and re-taping everything.

i have one cheap cell phone pic as of right now but it will give you a general idea of what were working with.

wtf? (im not 100% on how to load photos)

anyway i HIGHLY recommend you guys doing this. especially if you run any type of lift. the kit is about 500 bones but is well worth it.

one more thing. if any of you cats go through with this and need directions on an install, shoot me an e-mail and ill walk you right through it.

Give Jim Wolf Technology a call.  They can reprogram you ECU to just about any way you want it.
