I dont even know what it is called but when changing my oil on my 04 desert runner 4x2, I noticed a bracket near the front of the truck that had nothing in it. The bracket sits near the bellhousing and looks like it should have a support bar in between the frame rails. I remember reading somewhere that 4x4's had a support bar in that location. Does anyone know what it is called, part # or where to buy it? I can't find anything on it. I'm guessing it acts like a strut tower bar in uni-body cars except it supports the frame rails.

That is where the front diff bolts up if your 4X4 its not needed on a 2wd but if you want to spend some money look here.

sh*t that is a lot of money for a brace. Not getting one of those unless the price comes down.
