I just ordered a two inch leveling/lift kit for my 2005 Frontier Nismo.  I am fixing to copy/paste from their website.  Now, has anyone ever removed the strut assembly?  I am just wondering how much of a PITA this may be.  According to them, it should take about one hour per side.  Once I get this, I'll post up and let yall know.

Joel

FOR A VERY LIMITED TIME, WE ARE OFFERING FREE SHIPPING !!

THINKING OF BUYING A POLY LEVELING KIT? READ THIS AD FIRST !! See why Nissan dealerships across the country and even Canada are buying our leveling kits!! These have just been released and are already being used by dealers because of their MANY advantages!! (Keep reading to see why) This is a brand new "NOW PATENTED" leveling lift kit for the 2005-2006 Nissan Frontier/Xterra 4 wheel drive AND 2 wheel drive. These will lift the front of your truck approx. 2". These are manufactured in house by TOP GUN CUSTOMZ. We developed this kit last year and because of it's high demand, we are now offering it for sale here with a low introductory price. THESE TAKE AS LITTLE AS ONE HOUR TO INSTALL !!

FEATURES OF OUR KIT!

+

These spacers are made from super heavy duty 1/4" thick laser cut steel. These things are indestructible!!

+

Most customers perform the install themselves

+

Unlike the polyurethane kits, our kit DOES NOT require disassembly of the strut. (requiring professional installation)

+

You also DO NOT need to compress the spring like others.

+

NOW PATENTED

+

Guaranteed Forever!

+

Factory Ride!

+ Allows Tire size up to: 33x11.50 or 285/75/16 (or equivalent)

+

Works with the factory Rancho "off road" package

Nothing else is needed !!

The highest quality materials are used including zinc plated hardware and nylon-locking nuts. Because these are so unique and easy to install, they are "NOW PATENTED".

With polyurethane kits, a spacer is installed BETWEEN the coil spring and the top of the strut. That puts preload on the spring which noticeably stiffens up the ride. But probably the worst thing about the poly kits is they are known for over-extending the strut causing strut failure. Don't just take our word, look on numerous Frontier forums on the web. Many have experienced this problem with the poly kits because the fact of where they install in the strut. Our kit WILL NOT cause strut failure !! With ours, you simply unbolt the strut from the vehicle, install the steel spacers on top of the strut and bolt everything back up. RIDE QUALITY IS UNCHANGED UNLIKE THE OTHER KITS ON THE MARKET. This kit does wonders for the look of your new truck. It is recommended that you have the alignment checked after installation. This kit comes with all hardware which is zinc plated and complete instructions. The spacers are offered in black finish.

When you combine the fact that these are the highest quality, easiest to install, most affordable on the market, and carry a LIFETIME GUARANTEE, the choice is easy. We have been building custom suspensions for over 10 years and build them from mild to WILD! We also offer a complete line of other suspension systems as well. our products and service. These usually ship within 1-2 days of receipt of payment. Shipping is FREE !! to anywhere in the 48 continental U.S. We offer shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada for an additional $15. We accept Master card, Visa, American Express, paypal, cashier's check, money orders, personal checks, or paypal e-check. TN. residents must add 9.25% state sales tax. Thank You.

NOTE: The kit featured in this ad was custom painted red by the customer prior to installation. Our kits ship black.

I just bought the same kit. Did you install yet? Mine should be here in a week.

Update, mine showed up today.    It is however a little more extensive in labor than I was thinking so the alignment shop will have to do it.  I guess that is it for now.

Realize I'm not knocking the kit for what it does... but other companies have been using the metal spacer for Dodge, Ford, and GM full size truck with IFS for over a year now.

Of course it is the easiest way to raise 2" without modifying anything.  Plus, for those who have picky insurance companies, your rate doesn't go up for "Leveling Kit"  Because even though it raises the front end up, insurance company doesn't feel it changes the center of gravity, and therefore doesn't change your chances of roll overs.

I dont think so.  BTW, I now have this kit for sale.  I traded my Frontier in for a Titan Off-Road yesterday.
