Went out a few months back and did a little mudding.  Ended up backing into a log and snagging the front bumper but it caused little damage.  But oh well it was fun…This area had been in a drought so I have not been able to go out again.

My real beef with the Frontier, is that it throws mud all over itself, or even worse, has all kinds of spaces around the door trim to collect road dust, roll down the window, collect a cabin full of dust everywhere, open the door, get a ton of dust down the back of your neck. My '85 didn't do that, neither did the '02, this new '07 I bought is a dust-mud collectin' fool. It's sure not a farm/country/gravel road truck, it's a city truck...............

If you live in the country, it's a lot different than if you just go out of town to get your truck a little muddy. It's a pain in the ass.

So how do you rinse the underside of the truck?  Dealership told me that my body squeak was being caused by mud accumulated underneath from previous owner.  I tried washing out what I could by still squeaking.  I figured it would be kind of dangerous to get under there with a pressure washer!!

As for the underside I have not had an issue with the an noise from under the truck.  I normaly take just a noral garden hose and spray it off.  But my truck does make other strange sounds and the dealership seems to pass them off as if I am nuts.  Like now I am dealing with a noise in the drive set.

..

... Many people spray Pam under the truck so the mud won't glue itself the the paint and metal.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer!
