It's -10C up here and my gas cover door sort of stays at 1/2" open and is loose. It doesn't have a positive closed position. I'll be taking it to thje dealer for first check up perhaps in Jan but thought there might be a simple fix.

Make sure the gas cap tether isn't in the way, pushing it open. That happened to me.

There is a recall on the gascap cover. the spring comes loose, you can snap it back on yourself but the dealer has a recall for it and will fix it for you
