My 06 CC has TPMS as do all models in Canada

I switched to winter rims on the W/E ( Canmore near Banff, Cdn Rockies).

The rims are 16" OEM from an SE with TPMS valves:

Two questions: 1. The TPMS light flashes and then goes  on,solid The book says it's a malfunction. Do I have to go to the dealer to rectify this? Is there a way to recalibrate the system to accept the new rims and senders? the book doesn't mention anything.

2. The book however, does state I can check actual individual tire pressures on the display screen. Page 5-4 in the manual. I can't find how to do this in the book.

Anyone know how to go about checking the pressure?

I know I won't be able to check pressure until I get the warning light problem fixed but it is frustrating to find the manual to be less than clear.

Hugh

that tire pressure check thing probably won't work w/ SE rims, at least i don't think my SE does that.
