'07 was not engaging not 4 wheel drive. Code for rr wheel sensor.
Replaced sensor, didn't work. Found a bad wire, repaired it and it still
didn't engage. Have disconnected both rear speed sensors and now
the 4 wheel drive engages! I'm confused!! Help please?

In most cases, if there is a problem w/ any of the wheel
sensors, 4WD will not work. Never tried disconnecting
them to make it work. The sensor itself may be bad or
there is still a harness issue somewhere.
