Hello, wanted to know if anyone else had this issue, and also what
can I be checking?
This morning the inside of my windows were fogged up, after the
truck warmed up, I turned on the defroster, fan (blower)on number 2
speed,
heat on half way, and turned the knob to direct the air to the vents
on top of the dash.   I heard a plastic pop, like a small plastic door
closing. The air was not coming out the top of the dash, but was
coming out next to the radio and side vents (near front door
windows). This was the original setting from when I had the truck
running yesterday. It was not until about 10 minutes later, did the air
come out the top of the dash and defrosting the windshield. What is
causing the air directionality control switch to hang up a bit?

Thanks,
David

..

Are the doors vacuum controlled?
If so check for leaks.

Good luck.. Don S

The doors are controlled by mode motors(electric)
possibly the recirc door is stuck on recirc, which will
cause the fogging of windows.

The main issue is that I am unable to control where the air flow goes. I
wanted it on defrost for the windshield but It was stuck on air flow
coming out next to the radio
