Hello, My 2008 V6 just turned 81K, all is good. I also just bought a 2015
Altima with 4 cylinders. I see these vehicles take different oil filters. The
only difference is the height, the outside diameter as well as the thread size
is the same. for the filters. Is there any harm in using the smaller filter for
the V6? Both filters indicate they pressure release at 13 PSI.
Thanks,
David

I prefer to use the longer filter on my Frontier and my
wife's V6 Altima.

Same here. I always used the larger filter on my V-6 as I used on all the Sentras the wife had.
I bought ten at a time (I got a nice discount at the dealership)as the grand daughter had a Sentra also.
Have a good one.. Don S..
