Does anyone happen to know if the auto tranny on a v6 2008 4X4 tourque converter have a drain plug?
I see that there is an access plate to the torque converter but wanted to know if it can be drained?
Thanks!
David

No. It would be best to get it flushed or do it yourself
if you can do it w/o making a mess.

Thanks Frontierguy.
I had planned on dropping the tranny pan and replacing the fluid. Think that's sufficient? Any other suggestions on self flushing kits?
Thanks again,
David

I've heard it can be done by removing a cooler hose and
placing into a container, while filling thru the fill
tube.)with engine running) If you could add some hose so
it would be possible to drain from a hose and fill from
where that hose was attached would be the ideal way if I
didn't have a flush machine. It seems like it would take 2
people to be able to replenish the system as it empties.
