2012 Frontier king cab 4x4, I get a vibration in the steering column noticeable at low speeds,5-15 mph. I never had this problem with my 2010 Frontier. Has anyone else noticed this vibration? It's annoying.

..

I’ve had several low speed vibrations in my lifetime The
last was two defective BFG AT KO 31x10.50x15s I bought
at
a big name 4x4 shop and they never made good on them. I
ended up buying two more good ones at Costco. I had
another On a Sentra that was out of round after 10,000
miles and might have blown later.
Jacking the truck and spinning the tires will show if
they’re out of round but not a defect.

Have a warm one.. Don S..

After 25K you are worried about it??? Did you ever take it
back to the dealer to get checked? By now, it will most
likely need tires, unless you drive like
"Boomer"!!!!!!!!!!!

tires are in excellant condition, they'll go another
20,000 miles. Last time I took it in to a Nissan dealer
technician changing the oil put air in my tires, all my
tires have bright green valve stem caps. Would you trust a
dealer after that?

..

Yes... And I would thank them.

When I bought my last BFG KO ATs at Costco they put
Nitrogen in all five tires and green caps to note that
there was nearly pure Nitrogen in them.
And yes there is Nitrogen in the air but the Oxygen in
the air will leak out of the tires faster than the pure
Nitrogen.
There have been arguments about the subject but I did not
have to add ‘air’ to my tires for five years.

BTW… don’t put Helium in your tires because it will leak
out much faster than Oxygen!

Have a warm one.. Don S..
