My problems started when I let Nissan fix my truck for the fuel sending unit recall. A couple of months after they fixed it, my gas gauge stopped working. They fixed that a year ago. Just recently my gas gauge stopped working again and they told me that the wire harness had to be re-soldered. This was last Thursday. On Saturday the check engine light came on and the codes are P0325 Knock Sensor Circuit and P0180 Fuel Temperature Sensor. When we first checked it we only saw the knock sensor code and the service guy told me that the knock sensor is a dummy indicator. We rechecked and got both codes this time. It is my understanding that the fuel temperature sensor is in the fuel sending unit. Do you think that the resoldering of the wire harness could have ruined the fuel temperature sensor/fuel sending unit?
