Just wondering if anyone could help me figure out why when first moving my truck in the mornings my brakes make a loud metallic grinding noise.  I know from sitting overnight the rotors can make some noise but this noise is so loud it's going to wake up my neighbors.  I have pads in the front and drums in the rear and it's a 2002 Frontier with about 50,000 miles on her.

I turned the rotors about 6 months ago due to vibrations which is now gone plus I put brake silencing stuff on the pads which didn't help.  I really believe the noise is coming from the drums.  I've heard they could need sanded a bit due to glazing?

Any opinions would be helpful.

Well found the problem.  Lifted the truck up and could spin the back wheels to an extent and then they would act like they were catching a bit.  Ended up the back drums both needed turned in a bad way.  Anyways sounds fine and feels good.
