I had to take the truck apart to change the driver's side valve cover gasket.  I put it all back together and now it is a mess.

It threw 3 codes.

P0100 Mass Air Flow

P0505 Idle Air System

P0325 Knock Sensor

I checked as many connections as I knew to check.  The one on the back of the intake plenum I think was loose.  It ran good, until I touched the MAF sensor connection, barely.  The truck cut off immediately.  I re cranked the truck touched the connection again, again it shut off.

The truck runs like hell when it does run.  I think it must be the connector.

Any ideas?

The truck ran fine before I worked on it.  It just smoked bad from oil leak.  Now I runs like hell but the smoke from burn off is non existent.

I need help.

The P0325 was probably there all the time, P0505 make sure
both connectors are attached on the lower side of the
intake plenum(REAR), P0100 clean and tighten(with a small
pick) the terminals for the MAFS connector.
