^^this is the tube that runs from the pass valve cover to the intake^^

and has anybody else had this problem??

ive cleaned this about once a year in the 5 years ive owned the truck

That "brush" looking item is to not allow oil into the
intake system, just to draw fumes from the crankcase.
Have you changed the coolant and installed a screw clamp
instead of the squese type?

i changed the clamps and coolant about a year after i bought the truck when i first saw the corrosion

it sure is alot cheaper to change the oil in this than it was in my f250
