I have a 2005 Frontier NISMO crew cab.  I ran into a problem when towing a trailer and the Trailer Tow fuse kept blowing.  Now, even without a trailer, if I replace the fuse there is continuous power to the tail, parking and license plate lights on my truck (this happens without the key in the ignition).  I have tried replacing the fuse and I replaced ther IPDM, but the problem persists.  If the fuse is left out, things seem to work ok, but there is still a problem.  I have eliminated Trailer Tow Relay 1 and 2.  With the Trailer Tow fuse in and the Illumination fuse out, I have continuous power to the license plate lights.  With the Trailer Tow fuse in and the Tail Lamps fuse out, I have continuous power to the tail and parking lights.  Seems like the Tail Lamp Relay is in closed position whenever the Trailer Tow fuse is in.  The Nissan service manual says the Tail Lamp relay is part of the IPDM. Does anyone know how to locate and change the Tail Lamp relay?  Any other ideas as to what can be causing the problem?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

Is the trailer harness Genuine Nissan or after market?

Possible IPDM E/R concern.

Regarding my issue above, someone mentioned to me that sometimes when you change the IPDM in vehicles the computer needs to be reset.  Anyone have any information about this and whether it is needed?
