the TPMS light is on for a while  since i changed new tires last year  . Took the car to the dealer and was told one  of the sensor is damaged. I took the car  back to tires store and got it replaced but they could not reprogram it using their aftermarket scan tool . The tire sensors are read successfully but it could not write IDs  to the TPMs. I went back to the car dealer and now they want $125 just to look at the problem ... Is there anything else i can try because i dont want to pay that intial fee and i want to know if i  can disable this TPMS annoying feature...

Do a search on here, someone has posted how to register
sensors w/o a scan tool. The dealer is a rip-off, it takes
about 3 minutes to do this with the proper scan tool. We
usually do it for free(small town dealer).
