I am gettin poor mileage (17 mpg vs. 19.8 a few months ago) with my 06 SE CC 4X4,,,,72000 miles. I want to try cleaning my MAF sensor first as it is cheap and easy. can I just use standard carb cleaner on it. or something a little less "harsh" (water and a toothbrush maybe?) what should I use to clean it? Thanks

MAF sensor spray cleaner is avaible at most auto parts stores. Spray the sensor and gently blow of the residue. The sensor can be damaged by brushing or wiping.
