Have an 05 Nismo 4x4 Crewcab. Today while driving check engine light was fluttering then everything just died. Seemed like a big miss and all went to pergutory, all gauges went crazy also. Pulled over and it started right up continued home and within another mile it did it again. Check engine Light stayed on and still remains since I got home and no more issues. Kinda scary at 70 MPH and you loose all power.
Was reading other forum posts and maybe its an epd /m issue. (not sure of spelling) Is this a replaceable part for a do it your-selfer?
Will call the dealer in the morning to get cost but not sure what time they open till on a Saturday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

IPDM E/R is one possibility, over/under charging alt is
another possibility. Might want to have it scanned to check
the code.

Thanks, I read some other posts and took a gamble on Saturday and replaced the IPDM E/R and that was the problem. Parts clerk at the local dealer was a wealth of information on the problem also.
Thanks for the help

NICE FIX! The sad part is, it is usually only one relay
that is defective, that is not available separately.

Check with your dealer, there is supposed to be a recall
coming out for this concern. I didn't say you can't replace
it, I said it is not available separate from Nissan. Do a
search for IPDM E/R, lot of info on Titanspot.com.
