hello, this is my first post and I am really hoping someone can help me here.
I have a 2000 frontier with the 4cyl engine and auto trans. I had the tranny
rebuilt and I am putting it back in. My problem is that I have an electrical
plug that I have no idea where it goes. The plug is bundled with the
connection that goes to the crankshaft position sensor but then branches
off. It looks like a two prong plug and the body is grey in color. Also I have
a vacuum hose that starts at the rear of the tranny then connects to a bridge
on the fluid filler tube but I can't find out where it goes after that.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Was the plug taped to the harness and possibly not in use??
Look for a connector w/in reach that it will mate to. Is it
a vac hose or just a vent hose???

Hello, here is an update. Apparently the hose is a vent hose however the
electrical connection is a set of wires from the speedometer sensor to the
electronic speedometer. The manual gives no indication where the plug in
for that is. Does anybody know where that is?

It has to be within reach of the connector.
