My driver's seat will move slightly back and forth at the pivot point (where the seatback and the seatbottom meet)...if you push on the top of the seatback, it will move back and forth some, and I really feel it in my back when I'm stopped, and then take off. Dealer says this is normal, cause the manual ratchet assembly that adjusts the seatback angle has to have some play in it....they replaced the seat, same problem w/the new one. I just don't like it, and I wonder if anyone will check theirs and tell me if this is really "normal"? I know a power seat probably wouldn't do this. This truck is actually a Suzuki Equator, built on the Nissan Frontier assembly line, and it really is a Frontier with a little different outside trim.

thanks

I had that problem in my Jeep but just tightened the seat brackets. They should fix that since you just bought it. Tell them you would sue them lol...

frontierguy,

Nope...5'8", 175 lbs.

Yes, the other 2 Equators on the lot do the same thing...I just want a fix somehow. Dealer says it's normal.

And that is what Nissan technical assistance will say, check other vehicles to see if the condition is "normal". Unfortunately, some customers will get "tuned " into a certain sound or whatever and it is very difficult to convince them otherwise, even when shown that other vehicles exhibit the same characteristics.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
