The air bag light in my dash came on. What causes this? The passenger side air bag is turned on. The light came on when I turned the switch on, it blinked off after the engine started and then came back on. Now it stays on.

Not sure of the cause but if you live in a salty area (winter roads), Nissan has issued a recall where they will replace your air bag sensor as it can corrode. In any case, see your dealer. You don't want to have an accident where the airbag fails to deploy.
