Hello,

My fathers 1999 XE KC frontier exhaust is all rusted out... It has many holes in various places all throughout the exhaust..  Looks like everything from header back needs replacement...  So my questions...

Can or should I buy the individual pieces from NAPA or Schucks, or am I best off going to Nissan? I have had problems in the past regarding I/M inspections and not having OEM replacement parts.. and I dont want to get into that mess again..

Has anyone done much exhaust work on these things before? Is it easier to cut out and then assembly on the floor before installing on vehicle? Or cut out each piece and replace one by one?

I have a Millermatic 251, a Cutmaster 51, portable band saw, sawzall, exhaust expander, etc etc so Im good to go on the tools, just need advice on what parts to get from where and technique...

Thanks...

Well I thank it all depends on how mach $ you wont to spend they make a haul new aftermarket kit if it’s around $340 but that dose not including the headers

On my 04 xe I just went down to the local shop and they put on a cat back for about $200
