I have a P0456 code coming up. I replaced the gas cap, but the code came back. The other day, I filled the gas tank up all the way and the service engine light went out. However, it came back on when the gas tank was 2/3 full. Any thoughts appreciated. 2005 Frontier 4 cyl.

NTB07-059 says to replace the vent control valve and install a filter kit. If you drive on very dusty roads, you may want to consider replacing the canister also, seen a lot of canisters full of dirt.

Now have a P0455 code. I am wondering about the canister volume control solonoid. Advice?

P0455-P0456-P0442-P1446 are all included in the same tsb, replace the vcv and install filter kit. Again, check canister if vehicle is driven on dusty roads.
