this a old topic and wanted to bring it up again since my 08 does it the old topic i seen was posted back in 06 so i guess no solutions since then. here it is on my 2008 Frontier se there feels like 3 quick shift on acceleration at about 2 to 4 mph and at deceleration at about 2 mph, then when you come to a complete stop it feels like a rubberband. well i saw a sevice guy today and told me its the spline and needs to put grease just like the Titans.heard so many theories anyone have a definite answer. putting it in the shop this wednesday will let you guys know.

Seen lots of failures in u-joints on the rear as well as the front driveshaft. It's a lot easier to know what vehicle it is, if people state what vehicle they own by listing them in their signature.

08 frontier se 2wd automatic. service guy never mentioned u-joints or driveshaft, he said the promblem i had was in the rear axle the spline needed grease, he said the titans has had the same promblems. just saying what he said.... i seen this promblem was posted as far back as 06 with all different theories, so i'm assuming they have not fixed it.well it's in the shop so i guess i'll know soon.
