okay, complete newB question;

Just noticed that the left side of the tailgate on my 2008 Fronty is mis-aligned slightly.  (call me picky)

Can anyone take a minute and explain the easiest way to adjust this properly?

Well it looks like you've got three choices. You could try adjusting the strike bolt on the bed (there usually is some provision for adjustment here). If that fails, you could see if there's any provision for adjustment in the latch assembly on the side of the tailgate. If all else fails, take it back to the dealer and let them worry about it. I had the same problem on a '98 Dakota and never could improve on it. I just learned to ignore it. I usually had much more serious problems to deal with on that truck anyway!

Thanks. I've give the strike bolt a try. It's minor, but I haven't learned to ignore it otherwise.
