Seems like this is a common problem on the current generation of Frontiers.  My 2005 Nismo needs a u-joint but they do not sell them separately (so the stealership says) and they have to order a complete driveshaft assembly.  20,201 miles and I need a new u-joint!!!!  Nissan quality is crap.  First a new head, now this.

My Dodge never required anything but regular service and that had over 80,000 miles before I traded that in.

They are telling the truth... it's one unit, not servicable. More and more parts in general are going that way... even wheel bearings can't be serviced on most modern cars.

..

Guys,... My parts man at S&H Auto Clinic in Arlington TX says a Precision #354 u-joint will fit a crew cab, crew cab long bed, whether or not it’s a two or three  u-joint drive shaft, they're all the same. He has them in stock.

EDIT... He says some new Fords have a front wheel brgs in the rotors.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..
