I`ve got a black 05  and the thing that`s bugging me now is something happend to a spot on the paint on the front fender ,it has a oilish type look to it as if there was tire dressing on the paint but I`ve washed and waxed and it`s still there!

I used to work for a Nissan dealership in Arizona, the white paint guard film from the factory, some times leaves a glue residue on the paint, have you tried a cleaner wax? Maquiers makes a great cleaner wax. You also could try Castrol Super Clean, spray it on dry, let it sit for a couple of minutes, lightly rub it and hose it off.  I use this stuff to take road tar off my truck.

If its what I think it is, one of these should take it off.

 Good luck.

There is also a TSB regarding tire dressings discoloring the paint.
Basically it says don't use them. and it is not covered under the warranty.

i bet that happened when whoever it was that prepped it got it wet there and painted over it.  even the slightest bit of moisture will show through.  either that or someone got water on it while the paint was drying,  and it set in when it actually finished to dry
