So here's my problem.  I own a 2000 Frontier 3.3 v6 4x4.  Now, I recently had to change the exhaust manifold gasket because it was leaking.  Changed it no problem. I also decided to change the spark plugs as well.  As soon as I started the truck it felt like it was going to die.  I can push the gas pedal all the way to the floor and it just bogs down.  I have replaced the mass air flow sensor, both o2 sensors up front ahead of the cat, new exhaust and plugs.  I've had it to 3 shops here and they all tell me different stuff.  One told me that the cat's were clogged.. well I gutted one of them and the other is still active.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

..

totalaudio;

Sorry to hear of the problems.

Check the fuel pressure. And inspect all electric plug connections.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer!

Technically the first so called Converter off the Exhaust Manifold is called a 3 Way Catalyst, not a true catalytic converter according to Nissan. I purchased a 1999 Frontier XE 3.3 VG33E brand new from the Dealer and had issues with the 3 Way Catalyst after 1 year. I wanted it warrantied and was told that it not considered a Catalytic Converter. Bunch of crap as far as I was concerned.

Did you pull the plugs back out and read them? What are they telling you?

Which side of the Exhaust gasket did you replace?

What else did you remove to replace the Manifold gasket?
