Hey, guys.  I have a '02 Nissan Frontier XE w/ 62,000 miles on it.  When I drive at like average speed (e.g. 0-50 m.p.h), my steering wheel feels like it is vibrating, but not that bad though.  You feel it a little more if you are driving at higher speeds.  When I am idle, I feel from either nothing to a little.  I wasn't sure what it is.  I wasn't sure if it was just the crappy roads I drive on or something is actually wrong with my truck.  Thanks.

DaHotFlip86;

The nuts that review vehicles for magazines, papers and TV always have to rag about something… One rag is about “steering-road feel” that is transmitted through the steering wheel. So the designers have to set up the front ends so the reviewers don’t bad-mouth their trucks. Some tires, especially larger and heavier ones even that are well balanced can send a message up to the system. As the parts in the front end steering geometry wear a little and loosen up things become more noticeable.

... All balancing machines (and technicians) are not equal. Several times I’ve had to go to a second garage to get a good balance job. And right now, after about 5000 miles it feels like I need a re balance job.

Have a good one :wink: and see you later.. Don S..
