My truck is an '06 King Cab LE 4x4, which I have been very pleased with so far. I do find that when opening the drivers door it swings so far out that I have to be very careful not to strike a vehicle parked near it. If I am in the drivers seat and the door opens all the way, I have to get out of the seat to be able to reach the door to close it. I am fairly short but I have had other trucks that did not present this problem. I noticed a device located about half the distance between the hinges that appears to have two holes in it, with a pin in one hole, which looks like it may limit the amount of door swing if I pull the pin and move it to the other hole. Do any of you know if I can limit the door swing by moving the pin to the other hole, and if so, how do I get the pin out? I am a bit tempted to use a punch and hammer to drive it out, but am a little timid to do it without being sure that I will not screw up something.
