I’m betting it’s a dealer item but maybe a locksmith can do it. Maybe someone else knows…

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem.

I once owned a Ford truck and it required a certain cycle of the key to enter into the program mode. I couldn't find any notation in the owner's manual about programming a new remote. BTW, I love the new (to me) truck. I recently sold my ford diesel truck and came over to the good side. Thanks for the help.

Don't laugh... here goes for my '06 Frontier...

1) Enter the truck

2) Lock all doors using the driver's side door lock switch

3) Insert and remove the key 6 times (into the ignition - about 1-2 seconds per cycle)

4) The parking lights will flash

5) Put the key back in and move the ignition to the ACC position

6) Push any button on the new remote (ONCE)

7) Turn the key off and remove

8) Unlock all doors using the drivers side lock switch

9) Open the drivers door

DONE!
