Does anyone out there know if it's possible to get a heavy-duty/larger capacity flasher or relay, whatever controls the turn signals?

I am trying to hook a trailer to my '05 Frontier and the lights all work except for the turn signals working intermitantly.

I towed a U-hual last summer for about 16 days with no issues lighting wise. Now my own utility trailer turn signals won't work and I was wondering if it's a matter of needing to replace the unit.

The dealer tells me it's a relay/flasher that controls these lights.

Any help???

Thanks,

Steve

I'll try and help, but I bought my truck with the towing package so everything was already installed. From reading about others installing the Nissan wiring for the tow package I know that there are some relays that plug in behind the passenger side kick panel. When others have had problems with turn signals it was usually because they didn't buy the Nissan wiring and relays. Installing the relays seemed to fix many of the problems. Check out this site below. There are pictures and instructions about installing the wiring and relays.
