my 2005 Frontier has developed a problem. Whenever my rpms pass 2200 for about 200 rpms it sounds like a diesel. As a result, I am inadvertantly changing my driving habits so that the automatic transmission does not reach 2200 rpms before it shifts. I know that is wrong. The truck only has 58,000miles on it. I shouldnt be having rockerarm or valve problems yet should I? It is a freeway truck and never carries a load.
