Hi everyone,
This is my second time posting here, and ironically, this is my second problem with my Frontier. . .
It is a 2002 Supercharged V6,Crew Cab Long Bed with 50,000 miles.
So, the problems started after i borrowed a friends trailer. Turns out the lights on the trailer were not working due to a bad ground. . . Unfortunately, i found this out after the fact.
So here goes:
Lights off = directionals work (they did work until about 7pm tonight) BUT, when using the left directional, my dash lights, radio and compass/temp display flashed along with the directional.... Cool to watch, but annoying.
Parking lights on = right directional works, left one works intermittantly, but after it stops working, directional stays on (inside and outside).
Full lights on = Same problem as above.
After 7pm tonight, I drove home, and my directional didn't work at all. When I got out of my truck, I smelled the aroma of electrical smoke. . . Coming from the rear taillights.
I am thinking that something in my friends trailer fried the wiring harness attached to my taillights, and is now affecting my lights....
Thoughts?
