I have 99 Frontier 2KD and my sway bar I-bolts keep getting busted or broke in half. I replaced about 5 of these already. The main problem I have right now is the vibration when traveling between 30-45 mph with foot lightly on gas pedal. If I put good pressure on gas pedal or remove my foot on gas pedal, no vibration. I had the wheels balance, it's not pulling left or right, check engine mount, new shocks front and rear (rear shock broke on me yesterday), new brake pad in front. Anybody have experience or input on this problem?

At that speed, I have an occasional front shimmy after I had my 4th (or 5th) tire rotation, it disappears as the truck goes faster (no left or right pull also in my case). Not sure about those bolts but I attribute it more on the tire's uneven wear.
Since you have yours balanced, they probably checked your tire wear too but I'd check it myself.
Hope someone can chime in with better input.

I just replaced my swaybar linkages and bushings, if your bushings are worn it may cause play in the sway bar. Check the bushings for wear, they cost about 12.00 each and take 5mins to change (2 bolts).Also check the control arms, make sure they are adjusted equally, if one is out of wack it will cause one side of the truck to ride lower than the other, so I've been told. Hope it helps alittle.

By chance have you thrown bigger tires than stock on your truck? If so this could be a problem as the tires and alignment cannot be done correctly. I upgraded my tires from 265 to 32" and was told by my mechanic that the chamber/toe cannot be set properly, close but not perfect. To correct, put the stock tires on and get the alignment done first, may be the cause of some vibration in the front end, not sure about adding smaller tires than from stock. It really sounds like a balancing issue or brakes. When you put on the brakes next time let go of the wheel and see what direction the wheel goes, should stay dead straight. And now that I think about it, when I replaced my front pads I found that the upper and lower caliper mounting bolts were sticking. They should slide in and out with the pressure of the caliper, instead they were sticking causing uneven brake wear, drifting, and vibration. Check your old pads if you still have them
