First I know this should be taken care of by my dealer under warranty...My dealer is a 2 hour drive away, and will cost me a day. Even if it is a coulple hunderd bucks I will be way ahead....

Ok, that said , the low tire light stays on, when I engage 4 wheel (high of low range) nothing happens...still in 2 wheel. The indicator light just flashes?? Any ideas?  I have a CD Nissan manual....I've gone thru some tests described on the CD for trouble shooting. Sounds like possible ABS problem?? It worked fine up till 2 weeks ago. I got the truck in August and haven't driven it much (only 2000 miles) My Dakota was still on lease.

Thank you

I've had some issues with my 4x4 also but I've found that if I put it in nuetral and give it a little gas, it solves the problem. I have an AT though. I'm beginning to thing that the shift on the fly setup isn't working the way it should.

Have you shifted into 4 wheel going any faster than 55mph? Done anything that would cause this problem? My truck used to pop in and out easily but now there is a little latency in the actual "shift".

I see. You might want to see if your truck will engage in nuetral, I had to rev my truck to about 3000RPM. Try it out and if doesn't work, it's definitely a problem above my head.
