I have sagging suspension on my '99 King Cab 4X4. The leaves are flattened out. I have a fiberglass shell that is not helping the problem but is staying on the truck. After exhaustive internet searches I have found virtually nothing that can remedy the problem. It seems that suspension parts are sold for every make of truck except the 99 Frontier. I found some helper springs on J.C. Whitney that where a "Custom Fit" for my truck but they don't fit either. They are about 1 inch too long and interfere with the brake lines and a bracket on the rear of the leaf. Has anyone had a similar problem or know of a solution (other than buying a Toyota)? Is there an air lift system that bolts on and doesn't take modifications to the truck or kit to make it work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,  Jack

Jack;

Welcome to the group.

... Mine hasn't sagged yet but I bought a pair of one inch blocks from PepBoys that lifted the rear for better off road clearance. I also cranked the torsion bar for an extra 5/8 inch clearance.

If you buy the blocks make sure you get the correct U-Bolts for mounting the blocks. Look at the shape of the stock ones.

Have a good one,   and CUL.. Don S..

Don,

Thanks for the info. I have now found an air lift system that fits the '99 Frontier on JC Whitney and plan to give that a try after holidays. Hopefully it won't be too painful to install.

Thanks, Jack
