I've been noticing the login register getting longer and longer, but hardly anyone is posting.  It seems that new people come in, ask a question, then shrivel into the background, just stopping in.  I want some competition for having the most posts.  (Luckily for you guys, I might have a 4 month vacation from here, plenty of time to catch up)

SSSOOOOO!!!!  Let us start a good discussion that everyone can get in on.

It's been a noticed trend lately that Nissan is having it's fair share of problems.  Equal to the other companies no doubt.  But there is one little thing that has annoyed me, Nissan's current designers.  The 02-04 Frontiers hit a mark that made people say wow, and the Titan turned heads.  But now, the Maxima is the ugliest thing ever made, the new Frontier seems like a poor rip off of the Titan, and lets face it, Nissan's choice of grills over the past few years would work better as an actual BBQ, than a grill for a car.

So lets do a I wish thread.  What are some things you would like to see Nissan put in.  The Titan's bed storage was a awesome idea.  Let's hear those ideas, no matter how stupid you think they are.

A few rules though.

1.) You can nit pick at an idea, tear it apart if you want to.  BUT no flamming the poster or name calling.  Any such posts will automatically be deleted, and temp ban will be suggested as per forum rules.  Keep it clean as well.

2.) Any "this is stupid, Nissan will never do this" type posts will be deleted.  It is not contributing, only whining.  You can point out flaws, as that is contributing.

Repeat offenders of the whining rule just might end up with a block of cheese at their house  (J/king people)

3.) If these 2 easy rules can't be followed, I'll just close the thread.

The Titan forums has passed us up like we were sitting still.  Lets do a nice bounce back.

Call me crazy but I like the new Frontier...

Drives really well and I can't wait to lift it.

The only thing I don't like about it is there is no midrange power.  There is a lot of low end torque and good top end power (for a truck) but no midrange.  That is why I was asking if there was a Diablo programmer out yet so I can kinda change the timing in that rpm area....

So you don't have a Frontier anymore??  What do you have?

Well, I traded the Frontier in for a 4x4 Colorado.  I searched all around for a 02-04 Frontier, but any I found were junk, then I ran across the Colorado.  Not a bad truck, just had no power, but was awesome in the snow.  But I'm planning on moving sometime within the next year, and I needed a way to move my Maxima since I'm rebuilding it.  So that required a bigger truck.  But why get crummy mileage with a gas engine when a diesel tends to get the same no matter what.  So I got a 00 F-250.

You can see all my vehicles minus the Maxima here.  www.cardomain.com/id/kcidmil

I just hope Nissan doesn't do like GM did and make the bed extremely short on the CC editions.  Also, I'd like to see the Titan's bed pocket done on the Frontier.  That's a handy little thing.

I agree kcidmil.  The latest Frontier/Navara, in terms of exterior design, are not as good as the 02-04 model.  Particulary the front end.  It appears more of a rip-off from the Pathfinder (which is identical!).  However the new Frontier is far better equipped/spec'd and upmarket than the previous model.  Features like 6 speaker sounds, switch between 4WD/2WD, 6 speed man/5 speed auto, plus everything else...

Im still deciding what to get.  In NZ, the Navara is quite a lot different.  We still get the previous Navara build and sold as brand new!  Its called the Navara Venturer.  The latest model Navara is only available in 2 models - either 2WD or 4WD crew cab.  Its called the Navara ST-X.

The Venturer has a few downers like 2 speakers, 16" 4 star wheels, chrome rear bumper, grille and mirrors which I dont particulary like.  Manual only.  If I was to get one of these it would be about 2005-06 year with preferably low k's and has to be in black, which is extremely rare!  So to is white for some reason.  If I was to get the new one, I'd have to wait as it is more expensive (around 10-15k more!).

As for ideas...

*I'd like to see a V8 powered Frontier.  Maybe not 5.6ltr as in the Titan, but any V8.

*More sportier look.  The previous model looks awesome, but the new one looks more luxury.

*Black rims option - these can look awesome!

Thats all at the moment.

any way be happy you dont have a qr25de. that engine is a real piece of junk. i had an 02 specv that had pre cat failure at 13800 miles. thats a new engine at 13800 miles.  then i had one of the stock wheels break off going around a curve. $8300 in damage.

so far im am totally in love with my frontier.
