I am sure happy I bought a Nissan, Toyota has to deal with the gas pedal/floor mat recall issue, sure sounds pretty serious. Bad enough to halt sales and production. I always felt that Toyota was gung ho on taking over GM as the worlds largest automaker and once they did that, the economy tanked and recalls grew. Toyota put growth ahead of safety and reliability.

toyota has had issues the past 15yrs ago they had an issue with that mid engine mini van. 10yrs ago was bail joints on there fullsize trucks which was an issue with the owners of those trucks overloadind them. Toyota smoked GM years ago. Toyota is not afraid to put a recall out on there cars trucks unlike GM AND DODGE. Toyota is shooting to be the most american built truck car vann. The newest recall on there cars and trucks I would change the piviot points on the gas pedal and check the clearances on the floor board. Now with that all said this is scary and crazy as hell but I think there is a UAW spy working at toyota to trying to hurt any car company. Think of all that money the UAW got from the goverment they can pay any amout to anyone to do any dirty job. This crazy but just think of the timing of this recall bout the same time of he state of the union adddress. Must say it is a crazy as hell post but just think............. BTW I`M GLAD YOU BOUGHT A FRONTIER TO MAN
